St Mirren 0-1 Rangers (Co-Op cup final 09/10)

Rangers over came the odds in a tight fought fixture in the cup final, Losing Thomson to a tackle with should of been a yellow but turned into a red reduced the Gers to 10-men.

St Mirren pressed and pressed but came close only a few times within the 90 minutes but failed to capitalise on Rangers 10 men disadvantage...and for matters to be worse Rangers then were reduced to 9-men when Danny Wilson received red with a clear tug of shirt to stop St Mirren from a clear goal scoring oppertunity.

Rangers took the ball in a clear area of play, and Naismith received the ball and created wing play and crossed the ball into the ball to be received by Kenny Miller to make it 1-0 Rangers and for laughing matters a pigeon also took the field of play.
